Amazon FBA Consulting

The fulfilment mechanics that decide margin: fees, stock and returns.

FBA is a fee structure as much as a logistics service. We work through your dimensions, storage and returns to find where margin leaks, then set the replenishment and inbound process that keeps stock available without paying for it twice.

Tools we work in

  • Amazon Seller Central
  • Sellerboard
  • Amazon FBA Reports
  • Inventory Planner

Scope

What this covers

The specific work included when you engage us for this service.

  • FBA fee review: dimensional weight, size tier and packaging changes that reduce it
  • Storage and aged inventory risk, including long-term and removal costs
  • Replenishment planning against lead time, sales rate and safety stock
  • Inbound shipment planning: placement, shipment splits and prep requirements
  • Returns, reimbursements and lost inventory reconciliation
  • FBA and FBM split where a SKU is better served by one or the other

What you receive

  • 01A fee and margin review identifying where money is lost to avoidable charges
  • 02A replenishment plan sized to your lead times and stockout tolerance
  • 03A reimbursement claim process for inventory Amazon has lost or damaged

Questions

Amazon FBA Consulting, answered

Where do most sellers lose money on FBA?

Four places recur: dimensional weight pushing a product into a higher size tier, aged inventory surcharges on slow SKUs, stockouts that cost ranking, and unclaimed reimbursements for lost or damaged units. None is dramatic alone, but together they are usually the largest recoverable line in an FBA account.

Should we move everything to FBA?

No. FBA suits fast-moving, compact products where Prime eligibility matters. Slow, large, low-margin or restricted items often work better fulfilled by you, and some SKUs make sense in both. We decide per SKU on cost and customer expectation rather than as a blanket policy.
