SaaS Product Development

Multi-tenant products built to be operated, not just launched.

A SaaS product is a business with a codebase attached. We build the parts that are easy to underestimate: tenant isolation, subscription billing, roles, usage limits, onboarding and the support tooling that lets your team act on a customer's account.

Tools we work in

  • Next.js
  • TypeScript
  • PostgreSQL
  • Stripe
  • Clerk
  • Redis
  • AWS
  • Resend

Questions

SaaS Product Development, answered

Should we build multi-tenant from day one?

If you intend to sell to more than a handful of customers, yes. Retrofitting tenant isolation once real data exists is one of the more painful migrations in this line of work, because every query, index and background job has to be re-examined. Single-tenant is defensible when you have a few large enterprise customers with strict separation requirements, but that is a deliberate architecture, not a default.

How do you handle billing edge cases?

Mid-cycle upgrades, failed payments, dunning, proration, tax and refunds are where billing projects stall. We handle them in the payment provider wherever possible and mirror subscription state into your database on webhooks, so your application does not have to call the provider on every request and does not break when that provider is slow.

A 30-minute call. We map the process, tell you what we would automate or build first, and what it costs. No retainer before you agree the scope.
