Next.js & React Development

Typed React applications with server rendering where it helps.

We build marketing sites and web applications in Next.js and React with TypeScript throughout: server components where they cut bundle size, static rendering where the content allows it, and a data layer that is explicit about when it fetches.

Tools we work in

  • Next.js
  • React
  • TypeScript
  • Tailwind CSS
  • Vercel
  • Zod

Scope

What this covers

The specific work included when you engage us for this service.

  • Next.js App Router with server and client components used deliberately
  • TypeScript across components, data access and API boundaries
  • Rendering strategy chosen per route: static, incremental or dynamic
  • Form handling, validation and error states built end to end
  • Headless CMS and API integration behind a typed data layer
  • Automated tests and preview deployments on every pull request

What you receive

  • 01A repository you own, with CI running type checks, lint and tests
  • 02Preview deployments on pull requests so changes are reviewed on a URL
  • 03Documentation of the routing, data and deployment structure

Questions

Next.js & React Development, answered

Why Next.js instead of a plain React single-page app?

For a content or marketing site, server rendering fixes the two problems a client-only app creates: search engines and link previews that see an empty page, and a slow first paint. For a signed-in application behind a login, a single-page app is often simpler, and we will say so.

Are we locked into Vercel by building on Next.js?

No. The application can run on any Node host, in a container, or be exported as static files where the content allows. Vercel removes operational work, but nothing we write depends on it being the only option.
